Below in this sequential series of pictures is a vintage Triumph Tiger 650 done for Jeremy in New Jersey through The Classic Bike Experience here in Essex, Vermont. The bike was bought new by Jeremy’s father who passed away several years ago. The bike had deteriorated to a point where it was no longer rideable. As a tribute to his father, Jeremy wanted to not only restore the Triumph to it’s original beauty, but add some touches to it so when he looked at it, it would remind him of his dad. I made some custom stencils on the side covers that read “Dad’s 650” instead of Tiger 650, also salvaged and re attached the New Jersey inspection sticker from 1978-79 and under the seat it reads, “Where He LIVED” The squiggly red line was copied from a map, representing a road Jeremy and his dad logged many miles on. I was honored to do this bike and am a sucker for a good story. The final result, I believe is one gorgeous Triumph. The boys at CBE outdid themselves doing all the mechanical restoration work and putting this old girl back on the road – Brent
